Battery Life and Charging

We understand how important long-lasting battery life is for your daily routine. Sensate uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which is the same type of battery found in many modern devices. While your Sensate device should provide you with plenty of use, here are a few things to know about maintaining its battery:

  • Battery Life Update: We know that battery life is important to you, and we’re actively working on an update to improve battery performance. Once this update is ready, you’ll be notified and able to install it for better performance, allowing you to enjoy up to a week’s worth of daily 10-minute sessions on a single full charge.
  • Charge Indicator Lights:
    • Blue Light: The device is powered on.
    • Green Light: The battery is low and needs charging soon.
    • Red Light: The battery is almost completely depleted and needs charging immediately.

Charging Tips:

  • Make sure to use the charger that came with your Sensate device for optimal performance.
  • Avoid overcharging the device by unplugging it once it reaches full charge.

Maintenance

Sensate is designed to be durable and user-friendly, but like any device, it requires a little care. Here are some easy ways to keep your Sensate device in top shape:

  • Cleaning: To clean your Sensate device, simply use a slightly damp, lint-free cloth to wipe the surfaces. It’s important not to submerge the device in water or use harsh chemicals, as these could damage the device.
  • Avoiding Chemicals: Never use any solvents or abrasive cleaners, as these can affect the tactile surface of the device. Stick to gentle, safe cleaning methods to keep it looking and feeling brand new.

Keeping Your Device Up-to-Date

For the best experience, make sure to always update your Sensate app to the latest version. Updates often include important performance enhancements, including battery improvements and new features, ensuring that you have the best possible experience with your Sensate device.
