How to connect or reconnect your Sensate to the app

To connect or reconnect your Sensate device to the app, follow these steps and tips for a smooth experience:

Enable Bluetooth, but Do Not Pair Through Bluetooth Settings

Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone or tablet, but do not pair the Sensate device through your phone’s Bluetooth settings. The Sensate device does not support pairing through Bluetooth settings, and doing so can interfere with the connection. If you’ve tried this, go to your settings, forget the device, and restart your phone or tablet. After restarting, avoid pairing the Sensate device through your phone’s Bluetooth settings.

Only One Connection at a Time

The Sensate Pebble supports only one Bluetooth connection at a time. If another app or device is connected (even if the app is running in the background), the device might not connect to the app. Make sure no other devices are connected before trying again.

Using Headphones

If you plan to use Bluetooth headphones during your session:

Enable Bluetooth on your phone or tablet.
Connect your headphones first.
Then, open the Sensate app and connect your device.

Reconnect Steps

Open the Sensate app on your device.
Turn on the Sensate Pebble.
The app will automatically search for the device for about 10 seconds. Please be patient during this time as it looks for the connection.
If you see a “Not Connected” message, it may indicate that the Bluetooth connection is still being held by your phone or tablet settings.
- To fix this, go to your phone or tablet’s Bluetooth settings and forget the Sensate device.
- Restart your phone or tablet.
- Reopen the Sensate app and turn on the Pebble again.
Once the connection is successful, you should see the “Sensate Connected” message.

Start Your Session

After the device is connected:

Select a track and download it.
Hit "Start Session" to begin.
You’ll see the “Sensate Starting, please wait” message, and your session will begin.

Battery Saving Mode

If the Sensate device is not in use for 1-2 minutes, it will automatically enter "save battery" mode and turn off.
