Traveling with your SensateUpdated 8 days ago
We understand that many of our users travel frequently, and many people travel with their Sensate device without any issues. You shouldn’t have trouble bringing your Sensate along on your journeys, but it’s important to check the guidelines established by your airline regarding lithium-ion batteries. Airlines have specific regulations for carrying devices with lithium-ion batteries, and knowing these rules in advance will help you make the best decision about how to carry your Sensate device.
Battery Information:
- Nominal Voltage: 3.7V
- Capacity: 500mAh
- Watt-Hour Rating: 1.85Wh
These details may be helpful when checking with the airline to confirm if the Sensate device meets their carry-on or checked luggage requirements.
As a general rule, we recommend carrying the device in your carry-on luggage, as airlines often have more relaxed rules for lithium-ion batteries in carry-ons.
Soundscapes & Airplane Mode: Before putting your phone in airplane mode, make sure you’ve downloaded your soundscapes. The Sensate app requires an active connection to use the soundscapes, so having them downloaded in advance will ensure you can continue enjoying your sessions while offline.
Safe travels with your Sensate!
